Juror, Stephen Quiller, was meticulous in making his decisions. He selected 75 paintings from 549 entries. Mr. Quiller will offer a lecture at Center for the Arts Evergreen on July 30, 2017 (Sunday), 2pm in our old facility next to Buchanan Rec Center at 32003B Ellingwood Trail in Evergreen. The lecture is free for CAE Members, $5 for non-members. Unfortunately, Mr. Quiller’s Master Workshop is full, and we are not taking any more names on the wait list.

The Rocky Mountain National Watermedia exhibition has a long history of showcasing the very best painters in the United States using watermedia and your acceptance has aligned you with a great tradition. Congratulations again! If you have questions please do not hesitate to contact me. 

Center for the Arts Evergreen (CAE) in Evergreen, Colorado is honored and excited to take responsibility for hosting this annual exhibition. RMNW attracts entrants and jurors from throughout the United States, and is regarded as one of the top watermedia exhibitions in the country. 

Susan Lackey’s painting “The Bridge” has been accepted into the  annual Watercolor Society of North Carolina (WSNC)’s juried exhibit.  This is Susan’s 4thacceptance by WSNC.

The Mooresville Arts Gift Shop continues to be a success. As always, the great artwork makes it happen. Another major factor is ensuring new and exciting artwork is displayed each season. …and, we have freshened up the artwork for the summer. 

The items we need the most are cards, 3D, pottery (mugs, bowls, plates), glass, and jewelry.  If you are a member of Mooresville Arts and would like to have your artwork available for sale at our beautiful depot, please refer to the attached prospectus and inventory form for all intake requirements.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Thursday, April 9th, 10am

The Chamber of Commerce participated in the Event Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in front of the Depot.  Refreshments were served.
