Annie Glacken is originally from St. Louis. She and her husband have lived in Louisiana, Texas, and Virginia before settling here in beautiful North Carolina. Her chosen medium is watercolor because of its spontaneous traits. She loves the transparency, luminosity, and vibrancy of watercolor.
Annie's desire is to produce art that would cause the viewer to reflect on the beautiful creation of the Master Artist--Our Creator!
She has had the privilege of studying with Susan Crouch, Sterling Edwards, Jan Groenemann, A. J. Schexnayder, Jennie Tomlin, Wes Waugh, and William Youngblood.
Annie's work has been exhibited in juried and judged shows and has won several awards. She is a member of Cabarrus Art Guild, High Country Watermedia Society, Mooresville Art Guild, and the Watercolor Society of North Carolina.
Currently her work is displayed in Concord, Gold Hill, Huntersville and Mooresville.
